|Auto Backups||After you have saved your quote for the first time, SoloAssist will then start saving 5 backup files spaced at 15min, 30min, 1hr, 2hrs, 24hrs or older. These backup quote/job files will be saved to Documents ► SoloAssist ► Quotes & Jobs ► Backups.
If you need to use one of the backup files, do not re-save it into the Backups folder. Copy it back into its job folder and rename it back to what it was originally removing the backup file extension. E.g. 15min, 30min, 1hr, 2hr, older.
|Auto Save Backups On/Off||You can turn Auto Save Backups On/Off in the Setup (menu) ► Preferences (located top left-hand corner of the screen).|
|Display / Resolution||The SoloAssist display resolution for Windows 10 has the best viewing experience when the display settings are set to the smallest for the size of text, apps and other items. See below to find the Window 10 Display Settings.
Start ► Settings ► System ► Display ► Change the size of text, apps and other items: (Set to Small)
Related Settings: Advanced sizing of text and other items
|Mouse Wheel||It is best to set your mouse settings to scroll a single row at a time. See below to find the Windows 10 Mouse Settings.
Start ► Settings ► Devices ► Mouse & touchpad ► Roll the mouse wheel to scroll (Set To) Multiple lines at a time ► Choose how many lines to scroll each time (Set to 1)
|After closing a quote or job file sometimes Microsoft randomly keeps the file locked from being used after it has been closed, therefore unable to reopen it. To reset the file lock to open, you will need to reboot your computer.|
